CryptoSlam data shows that since the peak of more than $900 million in December 2024, sales have fallen for five consecutive months, but NFT sales climbed to $430 million in May, up from $373 million in April, an increase of 15%. This is the first time that monthly NFT sales have increased this year, indicating that people's interest in digital collectibles has risen again. According to CryptoSlam, the number of NFT transactions in May 2025 reached 5.5 million, and the increase in sales may also be attributed to the difference between independent NFT buyers and independent NFT sellers. The number of NFT buyers continued to increase in May, and the number of users who purchased NFTs increased by 50% from about 622,000 in April, but the number of sellers decreased.
