Kristin Smith, CEO of the Blockchain Association, recently publicly supported Crypto.com's lawsuit against the U.S. SEC, saying that the regulator's overreach threatens the U.S. crypto industry.
Smith emphasized in a statement released on X that the lawsuit is a key move to promote the regulatory clarity needed for the U.S. crypto industry to thrive, "Crypto.com's leadership has sent a clear message to the U.S. SEC: The crypto industry will always exist."
She emphasized that the lawsuit is not only a defense of the company, but also a defense of the broader U.S. crypto community and its users, against what she believes is excessive regulation. (Cryptonews)
