According to Odaily, Ying Universe, a company listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange, has announced its intention to invest in cryptocurrency. The board of directors believes in the potential of cryptocurrency and considers investment in it crucial for the group's Web3.0 business development strategy and asset allocation strategy. After careful consideration, the board has proposed to seek prior approval from shareholders to grant purchasing authorization. This would empower the board to make potential cryptocurrency purchases during the authorization period, which is twelve months from the date the general resolution on purchasing authorization and potential cryptocurrency purchases is formally passed at the annual general meeting of shareholders. However, the total amount will not exceed 100 million US dollars.
