The blockchain game FinSoul development team hired actors to pretend to be executives to package the project, and after launching the token level to establish a liquidity pool, they sold all reserved tokens and made a profit of approximately US$1.6 million.
In May this year, DeFi project Fintoch said it would launch the Metaverse platform FinSoul, but on the same day, on-chain detective ZachXBT said Fintoch may be a fraud project and has stolen $31.6 million in assets. Fintoch later changed its name to "Standard Cross Finance" and continued to commit fraud.
CertiK claims to have verified the real names of the project’s CEO, COO and CFO. It is understood that these "executives" are actually actors working in the entertainment industry. Additionally, CertiK said Standard Cross Finance’s chief technology officer was listed on a promotional poster for an entertainment company, providing evidence that he was also a paid actor.
