Separately, the analysis found that 2022 remains the largest year for cryptocurrency venture capital in history, with more than $26.2 billion in new capital invested in companies, compared to $25.1 billion invested in 2021. New cryptocurrency VC funding in Q4 2022 ($2.5 billion) is 77% lower than in Q1 2022 ($11.2 billion), but the trend is picking up.
