Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange Bitzlato co-founder Anton Shkurenko said the company plans to resume operations and allow some users to withdraw funds, The Block reported. The exchange was accused of laundering more than $700 million earlier this month and its servers were seized in a major international operation. According to Anton Shkurenko, police have seized the platform’s hot wallet, which contained about 35% of all cryptocurrency user funds at the time. But Shkurenko said the exchange, which will reopen at an unspecified time, will guarantee that 50% of bitcoin user funds in Bitzlato wallets will be withdrawn on the same day of launch, and that for other cryptocurrencies, the rollout will be gradual.
