World Labs released the research preview of Frameboy on November 5, 2026. According to Sina Finance, the tool streams Atlas-generated scenes to a browser using cloud GPUs at up to 15 frames per second, allowing users to control the camera in real time.
World Labs said an optimized version of Atlas generates new views faster and more efficiently while maintaining quality. Instead of submitting a video-generation request and waiting tens of seconds or even minutes, users can continuously receive frames and change the camera’s route while exploring. Frameboy is integrated into View finder, World Labs’ closed-test web app for building 3D scenes. Users can import scenes created in View finder for real-time exploration.
World Labs introduced Atlas on September 1, 2026. The model accepts text, images, video, camera poses and 3D depth maps, and can generate camera-controllable video up to one minute long at 1440p, reconstruct scenes from a small number of images, and output point clouds and 3D Gaussian splats. World Labs said Frameboy currently depends on high-performance cloud GPUs, making it costly compared with local rendering. The View finder app and the new streaming workflow are available only through restricted-access programs.
