STOCKS | JPMorgan Strategists See Further Equity Gains Into Year-End

According to Wallstreetcn, JPMorgan global strategists said strong margins, widening earnings growth, and solid corporate balance sheets are supporting further stock gains into year-end. The team led by Mislav Matejka wrote in a report that the recent pullback in equities driven by Brent crude breaking above $100 and rising Treasury yields is unlikely to derail the rally. JPMorgan recommends overweighting eurozone and emerging market stocks, favors mining, capital goods, and semiconductors, and is bearish on media and software, while the strategists said technology is unlikely to lead the market in the second half.
