Colombia Finance Chief Courts Wall Street After Budget Shock

Colombia’s top economic officials met investors in New York and said they are optimistic President Abelardo de la Espriella’s austerity plan will win congressional approval, according to Bloomberg. They also suggested the country’s external borrowing next year may be close to half the amount outlined in the budget.
