Binance to Move Commodity-Based TradFi Perpetual Contracts to 24/5 Trading

According to the announcement from Binance, commodity-based TradFi perpetual contracts will trade on a 24/5 basis starting from 2026-09-15 21:00 (UTC), ending the daily one-hour maintenance break currently applied to these products. The change will apply across all commodity-based TradFi perpetual contracts on Binance Futures, including XAUUSDT, XAGUSDT, XPTUSDT, XPDUSDT, COPPERUSDT, CLUSDT, BZUSDT, and NATGASUSDT. Binance said the updated trading schedule will also cover any new commodity-based TradFi perpetual contracts that are listed on Binance Futures in the future. The notice was issued under Binance Clearing Procedures and states that, if there is any discrepancy between this notice and any Futures FAQs, the notice should be treated as the most accurate and updated reference. The announcement did not include additional changes to contract specifications or other product details beyond the revised trading basis. The update is part of Binance’s ongoing review of its product and service offerings, according to the notice. The exchange said the revised schedule is intended to apply uniformly to the affected commodity-based TradFi perpetual contracts, while maintaining the same product scope named in the announcement. Binance also identified the notice as the governing reference for the change, rather than the related FAQs, in the event of conflicting information. The announcement did not specify any further operational adjustments, and it did not add new trading pairs or list new products beyond the future inclusion of commodity-based TradFi perpetual contracts under the same 24/5 framework. The notice closed by referencing Binance Futures contract specifications for additional product information.
