Evercore ISI, JPMorgan, and Jefferies kept different views on Apple after the company introduced its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, and the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. According to Sina Finance, Evercore kept an Outperform rating and a $365 target, JPMorgan maintained a Buy rating and a $340 target, while Jefferies kept an Underperform rating and a $263.66 target.
Evercore said the Duo’s launch price is broadly in line with high-end foldable rivals and that the new form factor could draw consumer attention. It also said the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max upgrades in processor, camera, battery life, and Apple Intelligence could encourage users still on devices older than three years to upgrade.
JPMorgan kept a Buy rating and a $340 target, saying it remained positive on the new product cycle while staying restrained on valuation. The firm had previously viewed Apple’s foldable phone as a potential $65 billion market opportunity and expected the category to contribute tens of millions of units in the medium term.
Jefferies said the Duo’s $1,999 starting price was not a surprise, but argued that the iPhone 18 Pro pricing showed Apple was prioritizing volume. It said the 256GB and 512GB versions of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max were priced 6% to 8% below its earlier forecast, though still 7% to 9% above the prior generation, while the 1TB and 2TB versions were broadly in line with expectations.
