Ethlabs Updates Priorities for Ethereum's Hegotá Upgrade

Ethlabs said it has reviewed more than 60 EIPs proposed for Ethereum's Hegotá upgrade and updated its priority recommendations, focusing on censorship resistance, faster transaction confirmation, native account abstraction, and performance optimization. According to ChainCatcher, Ethlabs supports FOCIL to improve Ethereum's censorship resistance and neutrality. It also recommends using Quick Slots to shorten slots for the first time in the Hegotá upgrade and to create conditions for further reductions later. Ethlabs backs Frame Transactions for native account abstraction, including passkey wallets, sponsored transactions, token-based gas payments, batch transactions, and stronger privacy and post-quantum security support. The firm added that client and protocol design should continue prioritizing performance to increase L1 capacity, shorten slots, and reduce node operating requirements.
