STOCKS | BOC Hong Kong Posts 7.1% Rise In First-Half Profit

BOC Hong Kong (2388) reported first-half results for the six months ended June 2026, with net operating income of HK$37.431 billion, up 1.7% year on year, according to Ming Pao. Profit attributable to shareholders rose 7.1% to HK$23.739 billion, while basic earnings per share were HK$2.2453. The bank declared a second interim dividend of 29 HK cents a share, bringing first-half dividends to 58 HK cents when combined with the first interim dividend of 29 HK cents. It also declared a special dividend of 23.88 HK cents, compared with 58 HK cents in the same period last year.
