StableStock has launched Korean stock trading, allowing users to trade listed Korean stocks and ETFs with stablecoins. According to ChainCatcher, the initial rollout includes more than 300 Korean stocks and ETFs across sectors such as semiconductors, autos, internet, and biopharmaceuticals, including Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, Hyundai Motor, NAVER, and Kakao.
The platform said the Korean stock trades are tied to real listed shares rather than synthetic assets, with execution, clearing, and custody handled through licensed financial institutions. StableStock said it has served more than 23,000 users over the past year and has processed cumulative trading volume of hundreds of millions of dollars. It also plans to open an API to support market-neutral and funding-rate strategies using real stock spot positions and crypto derivatives.
