CITIC Construction Investment said Google has again raised its 2026 capital expenditure guidance to $195 billion to $205 billion, from a previous range of $180 billion to $190 billion. The firm also noted that Samsung Electronics, SK Group and a U.S. tech giant announced a chip partnership worth a combined $950 billion, according to Jiemian News. It said AI industry conditions remain strong overall, while recent weakness in the AI sector appears to reflect both position rebalancing and concerns about future expectations. CITIC Construction Investment added that the compute supply chain remains highly active, with the sector showing short-term oversold conditions that should be monitored closely for further industry changes.
