OpenAI has added GIF creation to ChatGPT with its new Images 2.6 release, letting users turn a prompt or photo into an animation they can speed up, edit frame by frame and share. The update, launched on 4 November 2026, also brings faster image generation and two new developer models, though some accounts have yet to receive the GIF feature.

AnaisCrédit Mutuel Arkéa has confirmed it was hit by a cyberattack in which hackers used an outside service provider's platform to make fraudulent transfers out of the bank's own accounts. The bank says the situation is under control and customers will not lose money, though it has not confirmed the final loss.
