Youyan Silicon issued an abnormal trading movement announcement saying its share price had risen sharply in cumulative terms, outperforming gains in relevant indices including the STAR Composite Index and the STAR 50 Index, and that there may be a risk of a decline after an overly rapid short-term rise.
According to Jin10, the company said the semiconductor industry is highly cyclical, and its future operating performance may be affected by factors including industry cycles, market volatility, changes in downstream demand, increased R&D investment, and new product progress falling short of expectations. It said that if it fails to take effective measures to respond to these changes in a timely manner, it may face the risk of significant fluctuations in operating performance.
The company also said it had noted that some securities firms recently published research reports that included performance forecasts for the company. It warned that such forecasts represent only the personal views of analysts and are unilateral predictions, and do not represent the company’s views.
