Eleanor Terrett Says JPMorgan Blog Did Not Endorse the Clarity Act

The crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett said in a post on X that she did not interpret a JPMorgan blog article as supporting the Clarity Act. According to Odaily, Terrett said the article’s author praised digital assets for their potential to advance tokenization and modernize financial infrastructure, but did not back any specific legislation. Terrett said the blog post instead broadly advocated for a digital asset market structure framework with stronger safeguards and echoed JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon’s earlier concerns about stablecoin yields and illicit finance. Terrett added that JPMorgan appeared to suggest it can innovate responsibly under the current regulatory framework, while also indicating that market structure legislation could be beneficial if it addresses long-standing concerns such as stablecoin yields and illicit finance.
