South Korea’s government said it will establish an interagency consultative body to respond to crimes carried out using artificial intelligence, including digital sex crimes, financial fraud, and false advertising. According to Odaily, the new group is called the “Interagency Consultative Body for Responding to AI-Related Crimes.”
The body will include members from 10 government departments, including the Korea Communications Commission, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Financial Services Commission, and the National Police Agency.
