On May 27, Hong Kong stocks saw a decline by midday, with the Hang Seng Index falling 0.85% and the Hang Seng Tech Index dropping 0.25%. According to Jin10, the half-day turnover for the Hang Seng Index reached 170.145 billion Hong Kong dollars. In terms of sectors, storage concepts, brain-computer interface concepts, lithium batteries, and optical communication led the gains, while online education, gold stocks, copper mining stocks, and automobile stocks were among the biggest losers. Among individual stocks, Yunyingu Technology (03310.HK) surged nearly 80%, Chipone Holdings (02166.HK) rose over 12%, Lenovo Group (00992.HK) increased nearly 7%, CATL (03750.HK) climbed over 5%, and SMIC (00981.HK) gained over 3%. On the downside, Horizon Robotics (09660.HK) fell nearly 6%, Lingbao Gold (03330.HK) dropped over 5%, while New Oriental (09901.HK) and China Resources Beer (00291.HK) both declined nearly 4%.
