BRICS Nations Sell $51.2 Billion in US Treasuries in March

According to data from the Treasury International Capital System, Brazil, China, and India collectively sold $51.2 billion worth of US Treasuries in March. China led the sales with $41 billion, followed by India with $7.6 billion, and Brazil with $2.6 billion. Since March of 2025, these three BRICS countries have divested over $200 billion in US government debt. Ron Paul has cautioned that Federal Reserve easing and disruptions related to the Iran war could pose a risk to the dollar's status as a global reserve currency.
