Ether.fi announced on the X platform that, following guidance from its security partners, it will restore the LayerZero bridging functionality between weETH and eETH within the next 24 hours. Ether.fi had previously confirmed that its Liquid vault was not directly exposed to the risks of the Kelp rsETH incident, but as a precaution, it decided to suspend the LayerZero cross-chain bridging functionality between weETH and eETH until the root cause of the Kelp rsETH incident was clarified. Simultaneously, for Liquid (ETH, BTC, USD), sETHFI, and eBTC products, the relevant Teller contracts have been suspended to block the LayerZero OFT bridging path, and deposit and withdrawal functions for related assets have also been suspended. Ether.fi is currently working closely with its security partners.
