UniCredit Bank: If the war with Iran ends, the US dollar may fall further.

UniCredit analyst Roberto Mialich stated in a report that the dollar could fall further if the war with Iran ends or becomes a risk factor for the Trump administration. He pointed out that if risk appetite eases, the dollar's safe-haven role means it will lose support, as seen after Trump announced a two-week ceasefire. He stated, "Once the conflict finally ends, the market will refocus on the factors that pressured the dollar before the war began." The dollar could also weaken if the US becomes embroiled in a protracted conflict without a clear exit strategy.
