DCG to close its asset management subsidiary HQ Digital

Digital Currency Group (DCG) is closing down its wealth management subsidiary HQ Digital, which manages more than $3.5 billion in assets, The Information reports. DCG stated that due to the major headwinds brought to the industry by the state of the macroeconomic environment and the prolonged crypto winter, we have decided to close the company starting January 31st, with the possibility of revisiting the project in the future.
