UAE Strengthens Position as Global Business Hub with New Regional Headquarters

According to PANews, in 2025, several multinational corporations have established new regional headquarters in the United Arab Emirates, reinforcing the country's status as a global business center. In April, PayPal opened its first Middle East and Africa regional headquarters in Dubai, extending its operations to over 80 markets. Nasdaq-listed telecommunications company Veon relocated its global headquarters to Dubai, while private equity firm Partner Group set up a regional office in Abu Dhabi in June. Bitcoin.com, a Bitcoin information platform, joined the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) Crypto Centre, and Fortress Investment Group announced plans in May to establish an office in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, tech and financial giants such as Meta, Google, Oracle, Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Visa, and Mastercard have also established regional bases in the UAE.
