EU Negotiators Struggle to Make Progress in U.S. Trade Talks

According to Odaily, EU negotiators have not achieved a breakthrough in trade discussions with the United States. EU diplomats have indicated that the talks will continue through the weekend. The diplomats revealed that the scale of the EU's second round of countermeasures has been reduced from the initial 95 billion euros to 72 billion euros. EU negotiators stated that if a more comprehensive trade agreement cannot be reached, the EU will seek to extend the tariff suspension period.
