According to ChainCatcher, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang apologized to employees in an email over an affair, saying he took full responsibility for being unfaithful to his wife, remained fully committed to Nvidia, and would work to regain their trust. Nvidia’s board said it is launching an independent investigation and will hire outside counsel, while expressing confidence in Huang and his leadership team. Nvidia shares fell more than 2% in after-hours trading, possibly in response to the news. A company spokesperson said the investigation would not slow Nvidia down and that Huang would continue leading the company without interruption.
