U.S. Stock Futures Little Changed After Dow Posts Third Straight Losing Week

According to CNBC, U.S. stock futures were little changed on Sunday night after the Dow Jones Industrial Average posted a third straight losing week. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 28 points, or 0.05%, while S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq-100 futures gained 0.09% and 0.05%, respectively. The moves came after Iran-backed Houthis said they attacked Saudi Arabia with missiles and drones on Saturday, and the U.S. State Department later warned Americans to reconsider travel to the Middle East as the U.S. and Iran traded threats to resume attacks. The Dow fell 1.7% last week for its worst performance since March, while the S&P 500 slipped about 0.1% and the Nasdaq rose 0.7%. The pullback followed the Federal Reserve's rate hike last week, the first in three years, as oil prices stayed near $100 a barrel and the 10-year Treasury yield hovered close to 5%. Investors are also watching a summit this week between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping on tariffs, critical minerals, and artificial intelligence.
