STOCKS | Cathie Wood Sees $10 Trillion SpaceX Opportunity

Cathie Wood, CEO of ARK Invest, said each Starship launch could generate $1 billion in revenue. According to Sina Finance, she said that if Elon Musk’s goal of 10,000 Starship launches a year by 2030 is achieved, Starship alone could generate as much as $10 trillion in annual revenue. Wood said the figure is not an official earnings forecast. According to Sina Finance, it was extrapolated by ARK Invest from current Starlink network capacity and the additional capacity that future Starship launches could add by carrying third-generation Starlink V3 satellites. Musk replied on X to Wood’s post: “Not impossible.” According to Sina Finance, Musk said in June that SpaceX had a chance to reach about $1 trillion in annual revenue by 2030, far below Wood’s estimate.
