AI TRENDS | Elon Rejects Slowing Frontier AI Development, Paradis Says

Paradis said on X that Elon ruled out slowing frontier AI development in an interview and proposed a cross-lab testing mechanism. According to Odaily, Paradis said the related testing, evaluation, and defensive agents will increase computing demand. Gwynne said demand for computing power leasing has not declined. Elon also said all equipment for the Giga Texas research wafer fab has been ordered, with useful results expected by the end of next year, and that SPCX has started packaging. Paradis said this suggests CoWoS capacity may remain tight through 2027.
