Binance Wallet Issues General Risk Warning for Prediction Markets Feature

Binance Wallet announced on X that the notice is a general announcement and that the products and services mentioned may be restricted in certain regions. The campaign and related products are not available to residents of the UAE, UK, EU, US, SG, HK, or other restricted jurisdictions, and access is restricted for users in those regions. The announcement also states that it is not financial or investment advice and that participation involves significant risk, including the loss of capital. Binance Wallet said Prediction Markets are not provided by Binance ADGM entities and can only be accessed if a user holds a Binance Wallet. It added that Binance Wallet Services are provided by Binance Barbados Limited and are not under the supervision of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority or any other regulatory authority. Binance Wallet also said it does not sponsor, endorse, or guarantee third-party services, and that Binance does not act as the counterparty in any investments made through the Prediction Markets feature. The notice further warns that using the feature involves significant risk, including financial risk, market volatility, regulatory risk, and third-party risks, and that users may lose part or all of what they have invested through the feature.
