Kingnet Network To Invest Nearly $300 Million In Wemade Stake

According to The Korea Herald, Chinese game developer Kingnet Network is investing nearly $300 million to join a consortium that will become Wemade’s largest shareholder. The move would turn Kingnet from a former legal adversary into a strategic partner as Wemade seeks to expand its business in China. The two companies have spent years in legal disputes over Wemade’s flagship intellectual property, The Legend of Mir, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
