Dayana Yastremska Says Family Apartment Destroyed In Odesa Strike

According to the BBC, Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska said her family's apartment was destroyed in a Russian aerial strike on the Black Sea port of Odesa. She said the flat was hit by a Kalibr cruise missile, while Odesa regional head Oleh Kiper said 37 people were injured, including a baby, and two people were missing after missile and drone attacks on Odesa and nearby Chornomorsk on Friday night. Yastremska, who reached the semifinals of the Australian Open in 2024 and is ranked 113th in the women's world singles rankings, also posted images of the wreckage on social media and said only a Roland Garros towel survived.
