STOCKS | CICC Keeps C&D International at Outperform, Target Price Unchanged

CICC kept C&D International Group (01908) at Outperform and left its target price unchanged at HK$22.3, saying the company’s first-half 2026 results were in line with expectations. ETNet reported that revenue fell 48% year on year to RMB17.8 billion, but gross margin rose 1.4 percentage points to 14.3%, extending the improvement trend seen since 2025. Core net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company declined 13.5% to RMB790 million, while the core net margin increased 1.8 percentage points to 4.4%. The report said C&D International booked RMB520 million in inventory impairment charges, up from RMB390 million a year earlier, while investment income from the completion of the Xiamen Hubinli project rose to RMB900 million from RMB400 million. Interest-bearing debt fell 10% year on year to RMB82.8 billion, with 46% of that from shareholder loans, while cash rose 10% to RMB61.8 billion. Its financing cost dropped 20 basis points from the start of the year to 3%, a record low. Sales for the first half of 2026 came in at RMB63.8 billion, down 10% year on year, but the company rose two places to No. 5 among China's top 100 developers. It had five lighthouse projects on sale, with an average sell-through rate of 67% as of end-August, and some prices were 10% to 15% above nearby rivals. C&D International also added land with a cost of RMB29.6 billion and potential value of RMB51.9 billion, and its available saleable resources stood at RMB209.2 billion at end-June.
