United Laboratories (03933) said its independently developed Class 1 innovative drug UBT251 injection has completed dosing of the first participant in a Phase III clinical study in mainland China for overweight and obesity, according to ETNet. The study plans to enroll 600 overweight or obese participants, including people with at least one weight-related comorbidity, to assess the drug's efficacy and safety. Its main endpoints include the percentage change in body weight from baseline after 52 weeks and the proportion of participants whose weight falls by 5% or more from baseline.
