Eightco Holdings Reports $380 Million in Assets, Led by WLD and OpenAI Exposure

Eightco Holdings disclosed its latest holdings on September 3, saying total assets were about $380 million as of September 2. According to ChainCatcher, the company said its portfolio included about $90 million in OpenAI equity held indirectly through an SPV, roughly 302 million WLD tokens, 16,278 ETH, about $122 million in cash and stablecoins, and $18 million in Beast Industries equity. The company said its WLD position was acquired at an average price of $0.37 and represented 29% of total assets. It also said the holding was the largest publicly disclosed institutional position globally and accounted for about 8.3% of circulating supply. Eightco added that it repurchased more than 25 million common shares over the past month under a $125 million buyback program. Board member Tom Lee said AI-related stocks have been under pressure recently, but AI development continues to advance rapidly.
