Standard Chartered's Geoff Kendrick Says Global Stablecoin Monthly Trading Reaches $7 Trillion

Standard Chartered's global head of digital assets, Geoff Kendrick, said global stablecoin monthly trading volume has reached about $7 trillion, with Solana handling about one-fifth of stablecoin transactions. According to Odaily, the interview also discussed trends in stablecoin payments and settlement in 2026, the different application roles emerging across blockchain networks, and progress in corporate adoption of stablecoins. Kendrick said enterprise use cases will be an important driver of broader stablecoin adoption.
