STOCKS | Energy ETFs Hit Fresh Highs as XLE Sets All-Time Intraday Record

On Tuesday, several energy-sector exchange-traded funds hit new highs. According to Sina Finance, the State Street Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLE) reached an all-time intraday high since its launch in 1998 and was last up nearly 1%. The Vanguard Energy Index ETF (VDE) rose about 1% and set a new intraday high since its launch in September 2004. The State Street S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) also reached a multi-year high. Meanwhile, Phillips 66 (PSX), Marathon Petroleum (MPC), and Valero Energy (VLO) each hit a 52-week price high on Tuesday.
