Fitch Says China’s New Property Financing Rules Unlikely To Lift Housing Demand

Fitch said China’s new property financing rules are likely to strengthen capital management discipline and support project delivery, but are unlikely to materially boost housing demand or change the weak outlook for mainland developers’ sales and investment, according to Ming Pao. The rating agency made the comments after mainland China introduced a series of new property market measures last week.
