TRON Releases GreatVoyage-v4.8.2 With Ethereum Upgrade Compatibility

TRON has officially released GreatVoyage-v4.8.2, also called Pyrrho. According to ChainCatcher, the new version adds support for Ethereum Pectra and Osaka upgrades, introduces the CLZ instruction and a secp256r1 signature verification precompile, migrates fastjson to Jackson, and shifts node monitoring metrics from InfluxDB to Prometheus. The upgrade is mandatory, and node operators must complete the update by August 16, 2026, at 23:59 Singapore time to avoid affecting block synchronization. Event Plugin has also been upgraded to v3.0.0, and nodes using the official plugin must upgrade the plugin before updating the node version, while nodes using self-developed plugins should adapt as soon as possible.
