Shenzhen Zhichuangxin Microelectronics Raises Pre-A Round, Plans OpenHarmony and RISC-V Partnership With Kaihong Digital

Shenzhen Zhichuangxin Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (Zhichuangxin) has completed a Pre-A funding round, with participation from TusStar Venture Capital, an industry fund initiated by Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd. (Kaihong Digital), Zhuhai Zhengling Group, and Yingguang Technology, according to 36Kr. After the round, Zhichuangxin and Kaihong Digital plan a strategic partnership focused on integrating OpenHarmony with open-source RISC-V to build a "dual open-source" hardware-software ecosystem and accelerate deployment in scenarios such as smart terminals. Founded in 2022 by former Alibaba T-Head executive Chen Hao, Zhichuangxin focuses on RISC-V processors and SoC chip R&D. The company said it has launched multiple chips with built-in RISC-V CPUs and has completed mass production and deliveries, with annual shipments reaching several million units.
