Tencent Cloud announced it will make naming-standard adjustments and optimize pricing for billing items related to the Data Image MetaInsight intelligent search product on July 27, 2026. According to Jin10, scalar search pricing will be reduced from 2 yuan per 1,000 requests to 0.04 yuan per 1,000 requests, and hybrid search pricing will be reduced from 5 yuan per 1,000 requests to 0.08 yuan per 1,000 requests. The company also said scalar storage pricing will be reduced from 0.06 yuan per 1,000 items per month to 0.04 yuan per 1,000 items per month.
