An analyst said upcoming earnings reports from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) and ASML will be closely watched amid recent developments in the semiconductor sector. According to Odaily, analyst Fiona wrote on X that the financial results expected this week from companies including TSMC and ASML are particularly important. TSMC’s June revenue report released today showed revenue rose 67.9% year over year. FundaAI said TSMC’s gross margins in the second and third quarters are expected to exceed market expectations. It projected second-quarter gross margin could reach 68.4%. FundaAI also forecast that TSMC’s expansion of advanced process capacity in 2027 will accelerate, citing ASML’s increased extreme ultraviolet (EUV) capacity as a contributing factor.
