Iran Says It Will Respond Firmly to Any Disruption of Commercial Shipping Outside Designated Routes

Iran’s Supreme Joint Military Command said Iran will respond firmly to any actions by the U.S. military that disrupt or endanger the navigation of commercial vessels and oil tankers outside routes designated by Iran and without authorization from Iran’s armed forces. According to Jin10, the command said this stance applies to any interference or unsafe behavior affecting commercial shipping and tanker movements under those conditions.
