BitGo CEO Mike Belshe: Single-Digit Percentages Are Likely for Any One Entity’s Bitcoin Holdings

BitGo CEO Mike Belshe said it is “probably right” that any single entity’s Bitcoin holdings should be in the single-digit percentage range, citing concentration risk for investors. According to NS3.AI, Belshe made the comments after Strategy sold 3,588 BTC for $216 million. Strategy holds 843,775 BTC, which the report said is about 4% of Bitcoin’s 21 million supply cap. Belshe said large holders can create concentration risk that other investors need to price in.
