China's securities regulator said it is investigating alleged insider trading involving Haina International and has issued advance notice of administrative penalties, according to Ming Pao, citing Bloomberg. The China Securities Regulatory Commission said in an email response that the latest enforcement round is a consolidation and extension of previous rectification work, and that it is conducting investigations into illegal activities in accordance with the law. It added that market participants have long expected such actions.
