The United States men’s national team officially won Group D despite a 3-2 loss to Türkiye on a game-winner in the eighth minute of stoppage time, according to Yahoo Sports. Auston Trusty scored in the third minute and Sebastian Berhalter struck early in the second half for the U.S., but Türkiye scored three times against a second-string lineup. Australia and Paraguay drew 0-0, leaving the final Group D order as USA first, Australia second, Paraguay third and Türkiye fourth. Yahoo Sports listed the Group D winner’s knockout matchup as the USMNT vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina at 8:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 1 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
