According to Ming Pao, the index briefly rose to an intraday high of 9,385 on Friday before reversing late in the session, at one point dropping below 9,000 to a low of 8,831, amid reports of Israeli attacks on Lebanon that raised uncertainty over whether a U.S.-Iran agreement can be effectively implemented.
