The Federal Reserve’s FOMC economic projections put the median expectation for PCE inflation at 3.6% by the end of 2026, 2.3% by the end of 2027, and 2.0% by the end of 2028. According to Jin10, the FOMC’s March projections had the median PCE inflation expectations at 2.7% for the end of 2026, 2.2% for the end of 2027, and 2.0% for the end of 2028.
