Hyperliquid whales held about $4.20 billion in total positions, with longs and shorts nearly evenly balanced, according to Coinglass data. According to ChainCatcher, long positions totaled about $2.09 billion, representing 49.79% of holdings, while short positions totaled about $2.11 billion, representing 50.21%. The data showed aggregate unrealized P&L of about -$156 million on long positions and about $88.2 million on short positions. One whale address, 0x0ddf..02, opened a 3x cross-margin ETH short at a price of $1,810.16, with unrealized P&L of about $7.80 million.
